Feeling so Euro

I'm feeling so Euro today. I was on the bus on my way to work. Beautiful day, vibrant blue sky, not a cloud in sight, cold enough that I didn't feel my toes for 30 minutes after I reached the office. I disembarked from said bus and was walking to work, coffee in one hand, mobile phone in the other, happily (grudgingly) texting away. At lunch, I hopped on the light rail to find flowers and bamboo skewers for Flatmate Susies' birthday party tonight. (I got her a David Sedaris book) You have no idea how difficult it was to find skewers. Such a simple item... and yet, 3 days of looking and several stores later I ended up at the Asian Emporium (no, really!) and texted FS that I had at last found the desired item. She texted back 'You Star' and I hopped back on the rail to return to the office. I feel so city sophisticated. I doubt I looked it, but that's not the point. I feel like I belong. Today is a good day.
