Beware the Ides of May? Wait...

I went home last night and decided to take back my mood. It worked. I popped in Robbie Williams (because a little trashy music never hurt) and got to work:
  1. Cooked dinner. Something about chopping veggies always helps me un-funk
  2. Did 2 loads of laundry
  3. Spoke with my mother
  4. Spoke with my sister
  5. Cleaned my bedroom
  6. Changed the linens on my bed (never underestimate the power of clean sheets)
  7. Found a box to mail a gift I've been kicking around since March

I feel so much better. The weather is better today than yesterday, so I'm wearing a new spring dress that's been in my closet begging to be let out. (as in, to play, not because I'm fat) June seems to agree with me.

So thanks everyone who checked in on me. And Joe, you were right about the wine. Thanks.

Changing bed linen is a kind of spiritual cleansing, as well as, obviously a linenny cleansing...
Something about making the world clean and explicable. Tidying up or washing pots does it for me as well. Something about "this is how I want the world, and you will conform, dammit...."...
.....
Control freak? Hah. Don't.....don't be daft.
*uneasy expression*
