Where are you?
I've started taking Italian classes again. Dublin has a rather large and active Italian Institute of Culture. http://www.italcult.ie/index.html if you're curious. I'm in classes Tuesday and Thursday from 7 to 9. That's 3 hours a week more than in Dallas. It's tough, but I think it's finally sinking in. My biggest problem with the class is that it's taught by Velma. As in Scooby Doo. I swear, she looks exactly like her but not cartoon and with a heavy Tuscan accent. I keep wanting to raise my hand and ask if we get Scooby Snacks if we answer correctly. No Fred or Daphne, although we'd never know it since they are always in the van. Shaggy and Scooby are noticeably absent as well. So we're stuck with Velma. For 4 hours a week. It's tough to ask for hotel directions from Irene and not ask if it's haunted. This might be why I cannot form a sentence yet... Scooby, Scooby Doo, quando e tu? Abbiamo qualque compiti fare (what's now in Italian?)

What you need to do is where a t-shirt with the image of Scooby Doo's Velma printed in the front of it. See if she notices. That should be good for a laugh. See if you can take her picture, so we can all enjoy.
That's the best suggestion I've heard in a long time. I'll see if I can find the shirt. In the meantime, I'll take a camera to class on Thursday. Hope she wears her glasses on Thursday.
You know if I had to learn anything from the Scoob-di Boo (as my Daughter Christina would say)gang, it'd be Velma, Maybe Fred.
Fred only ever comes in to take credit for what Velma does. She's the one that does all the work, he's out in the van with Daphne. They only show up after Velmas puts her plan into action. Watch with C next time and let me know...
